Bread and Roses by Ken Loach

Bread and Roses is a very good film. I liked because the film like a complaint movie Shows the reality about the problems of immigrants in the USA and with and with it their expectations, dreams and obstacles. The sad reality of being exploited as immigrants but not being able to return to their country because it is even more miserable. Besides it is not a sad movie but it shows the reality of them with humor and using a sprightly music. Same with their characters in which he shows more strenght that anything else.

My favorite character is Sam because he is the North American activist that comes to transform the ideals of Mara and Rosa so that they become aware of its condition and begin to fight without fears. I liked so much the movie theme since the social complaint brought to the cinema allows people to access to question these problems. And the transformation of the characters is very hopeful but it's too much. I dind´t like that because the director ends up being very idealistic at the end of the movie where everything seems to be solved like a fantasy.

My favorite scene was when the characters with the other comrades set to sing a female working song because it gives strength to the film, emotion and one as spectator feels related in some way.
